Pagan Discussion Nights on Hold

5 January 2012

Happy New Year to everyone! We hope that you had a joyous, restful, and safe holiday and we look forward to seeing you in 2012!

We’ve had a few changes happen at the MPRC, one of which is that we have lost our moderator for the Pagan Discussion Nights. Therefore, until further notice, the Pagan Discussion Nights  have been suspended until we can get them going again.

Our sincere thanks to Luna G. and Selena L. for their help in running the Discussion Nights so far. We’ve had some great discussions and debates over the last couple of years.

When we get this event going again, we will announce it on this website. Stay tuned!

Soirée discussion : Occupons Montréal / Discussion night: Occupy Montreal

29 November 2011
Bonjour,

Hi,

It is going to be an evening of discussion out of the regular topics. The Occupy Wall Street Movement having gained international proportions, Occupy Montréal took place in the Square Victoria. Based in the deep economic heart of Montréal, the movement developed many difficulties.

Their claims are simple, our economic system can no longer sustain as a society. Only 1% of the population has control over our political and economic system and the underlying sectors.

This movement is an excellent opportunity to discuss our position as a community that is part of this society.

A brief introduction on the movement will take place at the beginning of the discussion :
What is the Occupy Montréal Movement?
What is going to happen from now on?
How can we help them?

As a Pagan community :
Are we with or against the Movement?
Are we Willing to Help Them?
How our beliefs are integrating these Social Movements?

Your Presence would be warmly appreciated in order to discuss about this Movement and your perspectives regarding this international event. Come to share with us your question, to discuss about the Movement, give your opinion and every contribution you can make.
